Karen Odyniec

Karen is a filmmaker living in NYC coping with a Netflix addiction problem for which she is self-treating. Her recent work includes the feature screenplay ‘Fashionably Late’ set in the high-end world of fashion. She has received screenwriting awards from the Sloan Foundation, Finnish Film Foundation and American Scandinavian Society with her feature Charm School for Primates a Nicholl Fellowship quarter-finalist. Her award-winning films have appeared at festivals throughout the US including SXSW, Nantucket and Hamptons. She holds an MFA in Film from NYU. Through non-binge-watching crime TV, she expects to re-emerge an active and productive member of society.
